Rebecca Woollard Sewing School & Haberdashery is located on The Heath (Village Green), Hatfield Heath, near Bishop's Stortford (approximately 5 miles). We are just off the main road (A1060), on the ground floor of the green building to the left of The Village Tearoom. We are accessible from the M11 Junction 8 (approximately 6 miles) and Junction 7 (approximately 8 miles).

Normal Opening Hours

* On teaching days, we are open from 10am to 5pm.

^ On teaching evenings, we are open from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Parking

Parking along the front of the shops is restricted to 1 hour (no return within 2 hours), 8am to 5pm, 7 days a week. 

For long-stay parking, please use the Village Car Park (approx. 200 yards east of The Flowerpot). The entrance is located between the Florist shop (Blossom and Bells) and the Day Nursery, and it has 28 spaces. In good weather, you can also park at the Church South Car Park, enter via Church Lane on Sheering Road (B183), and walk across The Heath. 

Customers who bring their machine to courses are welcome to stop outside our shop to unload before parking, as the car parks seem a long way away with a heavy machine.

Using public transport to visit us?

If you travel via train, the closest train stations are Stansted Airport or Bishop's Stortford. The train service is run by Greater Anglia - https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/travel-information/timetables 

The village east bus stop is located outside The Flowerpot, and the west bus stop is opposite The White Horse pub (approx. 100 yards east of The Flowerpot). If you are travelling from Bishop's Stortford, you will alight at the bus stop outside The Flowerpot, and if you are travelling from Stansted Airport, you will alight at the bus stop opposite The White Horse pub.
