Postage & Packaging

We offer the following delivery options:

Royal Mail First Class, £4.95, parcels normally arrive in 1 business day*.

Royal Mail Second Class, £3.95, parcels normally arrive in 3 business days*.

Free delivery on orders over £50. Some exceptions apply.

We only deliver to addresses in the UK.

We think that it is important that you receive your purchases as soon as possible. Hence, we aim to despatch orders within 24 hours (Monday - Friday) of receiving payment, subject to availability. Orders placed at weekends will normally be despatched on the next working day. 

If we have a query or stock issue about your order, we'll do our best to contact you (by phone/email) straight away for your instructions.

Our order system will email you to update you about what's happening with your order as we process it.

Wherever possible, we use the Royal Mail service to deliver your purchases. They aim to deliver them in the UK within 2-3 working days. *Some large-length items are unavailable to be delivered via Royal Mail. A courier will deliver these items and will incur a £5.00 surcharge. 

Products that currently occur a surcharge are:

DPD will deliver Sewing Machines. If you provide us with a mobile number, DPD will notify you of the approximate delivery time. 

We do not take responsibility for late or non-delivery due to factors outside our control.

Store Pickup

You will be notified via email when your order is ready to collect from our store in Hatfield Heath. We aim to have your order ready for collection within 24 hours of your order being placed. 

Local Delivery

We offer free local delivery within a 10 mile radius of Hatfield Heath/Bishop's Stortford. We aim to deliver within 24 hours of your order being placed.

If your order hasn't arrived

Our system will email you to let you know when we have despatched your order, but please wait 10 days before contacting us about non-delivery. We know it's frustrating, but it's most likely on its way and we can't chase Royal Mail about it until the 10 days have passed.

Please check with your local delivery office, as sometimes you may not have been notified that a parcel is waiting for you to collect. We've also had packages delivered to neighbours, but no card has been left for the recipient.

If your order still hasn't arrived after 10 days and hasn't been left somewhere for you to collect, please get in touch. We'll investigate to see if we can track it down for you! If all else fails, we'll do our best to replace the original order.
