Milward Point Presser and Clapper
Details
This point presser & clapper is an excellent companion to your sewing room. Use this dual purpose tool to press perfect creases, flatten bulky facings and create perfectly pointed collar edges.
The Clapper (the flat bottom piece) is used for creating crisp, flat pressed seams and creases and makes pleating a breeze. To use it, apply the clapper immediately after steam ironing and press down firmly for 10-15 seconds. The clapper will then absorb the steam and set your crease or seam.
The point presser (the pointed handle) is used for pressing awkward seams such as collars, points and narrow, hard to get to corners. Place the corner to be pressed open and flat with the point inside and use a steam iron to open the seam. Turn the corner around and repeat the process to create a perfect point. This versatile item can be used with both steam and dry irons.
Made from solid beech wood.
