Sewing Courses - FAQs

Where do I hold my sewing courses?

I teach sewing courses in a variety of local venues in Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

Bishop's Stortford is just off of junction 8 of the M11 motorway and 10 minutes from Stansted Airport.

Sawbridgeworth is 15 minutes south from Bishop's Stortford, situated between junctions 7 and 8 of the M11 motorway.

How many students do I teach at a course?

I provide a friendly and relaxed environment teaching a maximum of six students at any one time.

Which courses are suitable for beginners?

All courses are suitable for beginners unless otherwise stated e.g. Follow on course.

Do I need to bring a sewing machine?

Yes, if you have one. It is best to learn techniques on your own machine.

Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, I have a spare one you may borrow during the course.

What I aim to provide in my courses?

I try to inspire students with a variety of ideas, methods and creativity helping them to achieve the simplest and most effective results.

I tailor my courses to individual needs of students and provide clearly written notes/instructions.

When do my courses take place?

Courses run at flexible times, evenings, daytimes and weekends, in order to fit in with your busy lifestyle.
